Civil engineering ncsu6/7/2023 In addition, several CCEE faculty are active members of the new $25 million NSF STEPS Science and Technology Center that is led by NC State. The faculty includes internationally renowned engineers, many of whom have received awards for research, teaching, and outreach, including 15 winners of the NSF CAREER and other junior-faculty awards. To accomplish this purpose, CCEE has a vibrant community of 49 faculty, 14 staff, and more than 700 undergraduate and 300 graduate students that work together in a collaborative, diverse, and collegial environment that is enhanced by supporting different points of view. The department’s purpose is to improve society via research and education related to infrastructure, human health, and the environment. NC State University’s College of Engineering invites applications and nominations for the position of Department Head for the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering (CCEE).
